Viasat World required a fresh creative narrative and a comprehensive visual identity for their True Crime programming block. The brief called for a set of three distinct channel identification promos (idents) along with supporting on-screen graphics that could capture a gritty, atmospheric tone without relying on typical genre clichés.

I built a dark, suspenseful visual world using a combination of Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine. By leveraging Unreal Engine's real-time rendering capabilities alongside Cinema 4D, I created highly detailed, atmospheric 3D environments that allowed for cinematic lighting and camera work. This hybrid workflow made it possible to rapidly iterate on the moody, suspenseful look required for all three idents and the accompanying network packaging.
The identity successfully rolled out across Viasat’s international network, providing a cohesive and premium look that clearly defined the True Crime block and unified the channel's promotional content.
