Following the 2021 sandstorm that wedged the Ever Given cargo ship in the Suez Canal, Viasat produced an urgent, one-off documentary. The production footage required extensive clean-up and a high-end colour grade to meet broadcast standards, along with a bespoke motion design for the end board.

I performed detailed digital clean-up and color grading to unify the documentary’s aesthetic. I also designed and animated a custom end board that balanced the gravity of the event with Viasat Explore’s adventurous branding.
The promo "Stuck in the Suez" won Gold at the Eyes & Ears Europe 2022 Awards and a Silver at the Clio Entertainment 2022 Awards.
