Working closely with the agency, I animated several key sequences using a mixed-media approach. We adopted a future-retro "vaporwave" design style to appeal to a younger digital audience, blending stylized graphic elements, typography, and live-action footage of BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo. The final piece was built using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D to create smooth transitions across a variety of abstract ideas.
The film was distributed across the BBC's social and digital platforms, successfully reaching its target demographic. Since its release, several of the forward-looking media concepts showcased in the animation have been actively developed and implemented by the broadcaster.
